Claude Code: Data Analysis — Claude AI training for data and business teams

Claude Code: Data Analysis is a 1–2 day course (7 hours per day) for people who work with data every day — data, business and financial analysts, operations, supply chain and HR teams, and managers who want reports faster. It covers analysing CSV and Excel files with Claude, writing SQL against real databases, generating charts and dashboards, and automating the parts of the reporting workflow that repeat every month.

Who is this course for?

Analysts and operational teams whose week contains a recurring data task — a monthly close, a weekly operations report, a recurring extract that always needs the same cleaning.

It is also aimed at managers who currently wait on someone else for numbers. No programming background is assumed, but participants should be comfortable working with spreadsheets and data.

What can participants do afterwards?

Ask questions of a CSV or Excel file directly instead of building a pivot table for each one
Produce and check SQL against a real database without writing it from scratch
Generate charts and dashboards from a described requirement
Automate a repeating step of their own reporting workflow

How does this differ from the Basic course?

Claude Basic / Co-work is about working with language — writing, summarising, and everyday documents. This course is about working with data: files, queries, charts and the automation around them.

The two are complementary, and organizations commonly run Basic across the whole company and Data Analysis for the teams whose output is numbers.
